I'm trying to get the Patriarch Supreme as Chalcedonian Byzantium

Anybody got any tips? I'm a few episodes in and I've managed to turn back to the true faith. But, I'm not seeing an option to get the Patriarch Supreme. Do I need certain territories, or events, or did I screw something up?

Edit: What is "Hold the title of Constantinople"? I have the county of Constantinople, but the box isn't checked...

To take this decision you need to either be the pentarch in constantinople (not likely) or, be an emperor and have prestige of 2500. AND one of your vasssals needs to be the pentarch in constantinople.

established patriarch supreme just yesterday, and it plainly required 2500 piety.

Yes, it does, but that's a different part of the condition. Read the code above as "If you're not a pentarch you need PRESTIGE of 2500"

In short, as a player you need BOTH prestige and piety of 2500.
