Hey, in my game Mohammed spawned but somehow he spawned as Akom and not muslim. Is this a known bug? He lost his empire title too.
Wrong thread, this one is for development. What you reported is not a known bug, please upload your save and converter's log.txt in case we need to debug. Did you use any CK3 mod alongside the converted one?

Is there any chance the converter could be made to work with Bookmarks+ (and it's submods I guess)? Want to play the converted megacampain, but also love the features of bookmarks+ (the cultureal traditions and such especially mesh well, for example)?

There is a non-zero chance. Specifically, you would need to update the converter's relevant mapping files, as I don't personally use that mod.

Crap. I have pretty much zero ability to mod myself. It took me like a week with a video guide to make a working mod that replaces a single flag. -_-

Thank you for the reply regardless, it's much appreciated.

As a side note, when it comes out fully, are there any plans to potentially make a converter (or adjustments to the normal Ck3 to Eu4 one) that will work with the After the end fan fork mod to your knowledge?

Also, also (my apologies for possibly spamming a bit, guess I'm getting a flow of conciousness), but would you guys be willing to add in the imperator flags to the conversions in general when possible (there are a select few in/able to be already like for Egypt, which is nice, although the only other one that I can find is for the Persian Empire, which might better suit being the Kingdom of Persia flag instead, and instead maybe have flag of the reunited Argead Empire the flag of the formable Persia be the flag of the empire equivalent in ck3 instead since Seleucus is in the beginning of Imperator isn't the ruler of a reunited empire or of all the former lands of the achumenads either)? The Imperator flags tend to just fit better in a converted save and are more oten than not more asthetically pleasing than the Ck3 equivalents (just look at for example the Etruscan, Athenian/Attican, Thracian, Cartheginian, Spartan/Lacedaemonian, Judean/Isreali, et al flags for for just a few examples) compared to their ck3 equivalents.

I encourage you to try nonetheless. I think you'd need to mostly edit these two files:
https://github.com/ParadoxGameConve...oCK3/Data_Files/configurables/culture_map.txt
https://github.com/ParadoxGameConve...CK3/Data_Files/configurables/religion_map.txt

You'd need to ask on the CK3ToEU4 thread. But I guess it will also require an interested contributor.

There is an option in the frontend to select whether I:R or CK3 flags should be preferred.

Thank you, I'll do that!

I'll ask over there, thank you.

I've chosen those options on the front end, but the only Imperator flags that transfer over seem to be ptolemaic egypt (which btw a bit weird name if that dynasty no longer rules), and the empire of Persia (and I think one single duchy, but I can't recall which), and all of the rest stay as the ck3 versions. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling to see if it was a bug and enabled only the converted file, but the same result. Any suggestion on what might be wrong?

Please upload your I:R save and I'll check.

Hi guys, thank you for the hard work.

1) I'm curious about how (and if) unlocked military traditions are transferred to CK3. I mostly play to make "the best country", which in I:R includes getting all the traditions, so it would be nice if this effort is somehow "recognized" in the next game. As a suggestion, they may result in custom cultural innovations with an effect that's not game-breaking. Off the top of my head, Roman traditions may result in -10% friendly fatal casualties (inspired by rotation of the frontline fighters), while Persian Rural traditions would (always) allow to hire Horse Archers. If you like the suggestion, I can help with designing the innovations and conversion rules properly (I have a lot of experience exploiting CK3 mechanics, as well as numerous other games, so will be able to ensure they're not game-breaking).

2) Just as an idea, what do you think about making a "framework" for total conversion mods? Transfer the map on 1-to-1 basis (I:R settlement => CK3 barony, with some dynamic rules for making counties), preserve cultures and religions also as 1-to-1 (transfer names, procedurally change existing pictures to satisfy the new game requirements). Make finer points (like religious tenets) random just for basic playability, and let the modders of total conversion mod handle the rest. The point is, there are mods that cover the same universe in different games (the Lord of the Rings, for one), and I for one would be happy to play a megacampaign between them.

Also, I went to go edit those two files as you mentioned, but I'm not exactly sure *what* I should be doing/what I should be editing. The Bookmarks+ mod doesn't actually seem to have those files at all, so it doesn't seem I can meld the neccessary data togther.

Posting here because there seems to be two threads apparently and I'm not actually sure which one is the correct one:

"I think I figured out the issue with the flags, but I don't know how to fix it. Because my character (Imperator of the Roman Empire) owns the entire Imperator map. and that the flags seem to only (baring a select few for some reason) seem to convert for existing independant or subject countries, the flags never convert over. Is there some way I can fix this issue in conversion without breaking roleplay/immersion by releasing nations?"

Update: After some testing, I realized that a lot of flags end up being put onto newly created titles, rather than to existing ck3 equivalents even when choosing the appropriate options on the converter and pretty much all of them are set as kingdoms and pretty much none are duchies, which probably contributes a hell of a lot to that issue. Also, I noticed that now the options of dynamic and static settings seem to be mixed up/swapped by accident.

Hello, I had previously made some suggestions related to cultures with TFE in the release thread that are now under the "Tweaks for conversion to Fallen Eagle" issue in GitHub. I had tried to implement these changes myself and they seem to be working so I was wondering if I could hand them over to you guys and how I would do so.

Hi, you can make a pull request on GitHub, if you know how to to that. I've also DM'ed you an invitation to our discord in case you don't.
