I just recently started this game and one of the first features I noticed missing was:
Ability to select your game speed. You can only increase or slow the speed by using + and -, or set the game to high speed.
But there's no hotkey for setting the game to normal or medium speed. (default keys I usually use for these is 1, 2 and 3 for fastest speed)
So I hope it wouldn't be too hard to just quickly add the option to bind those keys, because I hate switching game speed with + and -, when there's literally just 3 speeds available and pause I prefer having them all separated.
