Improved Kaiserreich flag pack

This is something I've been holding onto for a while now. After a long time of keeping it locked away for personal use, I'd like to release it to maybe breathe some freshness into the most imaginative mod for Darkest Hour.

All of these flags were compiled by me and made by request for me. In many ways I feel it adds a more realistic touch, adding state flags where there were once naval flags, taking away the more sillier designs and making authentic ones, changing flags that perhaps didn't suit the nation they were given to.

HELP REQUESTED:

If anyone likes these designs and their assignments, it would be greatly appreciated if someone would help me with the icons - the one thing I failed to complete.

- Installation Instructions -

- Copy and paste the shields into the shields folder. (Darkest Hour > Mods > Kaierreich > gfx > MAP > Shields)

- Copy and paste the flags into the flags folder. (Darkest Hour > Mods > Kaiserreich > gfx > MAP > Shields)

- Copy and paste the counters into the palette folder. (Darkest Hour > Mods > Kaiserreich > gfx > palette)

I'm really glad to see the Union Jack gone from the UoB flag. Much appreciated.

This should be added to the first page of KR mod forum as additional mods. I already forgot about this. A few flags I would also change if you ever make a new flag pack. One of them would be for the Russian Republic, if Transamur unites the lands. It looks out of place in my opinion. The next one is for Syndicalist Hungary. It shouldn't be the same as for communist Hungary, because the communist flag has taken elements from the soviet one. It should be closer to the flag of the Hungarian Soviet Republic flag. The words should not be there, only the color, and logo. (The meaning of the words: Red Csepel Regiment, 2. Battalion)
If I remember well if the player chooses a national populist path for Hungary without a king, than the flag is still the same royal flag. Instead of that I propose this one: https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipe...val.png/200px-Arpad-savos_zaszlo_8_savval.png
The Arrow Cross flag is not valid here. Szálasi would probably still be in the army, or he would take a different path. Any swastika affiliation would die out without Hitler. One of the original flag ideas was the restoration of the old state flag of the House of Árpád, the above one. It is still quite popular.

And are there flags for very unlikely scenarios? I mean Austria-Hungary could reborn, but what if it turns syndicalist. Is there flag for it? I didn't saw anything.

I agree with you about the Red Hungary one. Also, for Austria-Hungary and the Danubian Federation turning syndie, I'm pretty sure (in the base KR anyway) there's an AH flag with the DDR's hammer and compass.
