As someone who came firmly from the old Sim City 4 culture of watching my -garden- city grow, I was thinking as to what I really felt was missing in C:S. I was thinking about how much more critical land values were, and how both the overall development of the city as well as the land value were very different -
- Land value is heavily influenced by neighboring zoned areas
- Land value has a much higher cap and can go way, way up
- Overall development requires that the city as a whole has been built up quite a bit
- Land value influenced by zoned buildings in a radius as well as normal means
- A higher land value cap which is raised as the city as a whole gets built up
