Impulse Updating

Having read the rest of the forum, I know it isn't your fault...

But Impulse seems to think that the 1.01 patch is available to download as a link on the forums here, rather than through the launcher (launcher directs me to this dead link or their software, which recognises a 1.01 but just points to the DH forums. I just get redirected to here endlessly whatever I do.

Kind of looks like they're trying to pass the buck, though maybe it's only temporary. I'll check again later.

The Update button on the Launcher does not point to the patch directly as we cannot distribute patches on our own (this is something we're are looking for at some point in the future). That patch should be available for download directly from Impulse once they have it up.

Indeed. I guessed as much, but I'm just saying that at this point in time, both the DH launcher (yours) and Impulse's stuff are just redirecting here.

Just for info, the patch is coming through on Impulse. It sits at Preparing Download for about 10 minutes but then it finally does patch the game. Yippee skippee.

One LITTLE hitch. The Launcher still says the version is 1.00 but when I run the game it says 1.01 on the splash screen. I tried starting it both from the Impulse My Games list (which says it's 1.01) and by running the launcher direct from my HD. Not a big thing, just letting you know. Once again, great game.

Probably they do not update the registry key with the new version. As long as you have the correct check-sum all should be fine!
