When I go into the ingame shop. It displays Shop unavailable in red letters. I've tryed Checking if Steam Community Ingame is enabled(It is), restarting steam, turning off my firewall. So far it still nothing has changed. Any suggestions on how to fix it?

I don't know about any other place to check other then the steam options for the game it self.
Steam Menu - Settings - In Game tab - Enable Steam Community in-game

Sometime it takes a while to connect to the servers. While connecting, the text "Shop unavailable" is shown, so hopefully this problem might solve itself just by waiting a little bit.

Bought the game today on steam, same issue as everyone else, was going to get the add-ons as I read in the other forums you buy them threw the game only and the store has been down a few hours now (well never really been up for me) as I like all the bells and whistles in games like these. BTW love the game , it is a blast for what it is, nice work devs. Hope to see the store up soon, if you do get it working (or find out what the issue is) let us know over at steam

We think we have localized what can create this bug and are on it as we speak! Should not be long before it is fixed!

It "had" been fine for me every time - but just now went in and received the same thing. Don't know what the difference was before when it worked and now when it didn't other than location of my laptop (IPs).
Thnx Lillarpy, as of this writting still not working but that's ok, when it's up I will buy my goodies ! You guys could easily do an expansion or additions to this game or even a new game version2 ! This is really about the closest thing to DungeonKeeper today, I hope to see more expansions on this title for sure! look forward to the fix
I'm having the same problem. I even disabled my firewall completely, added money to my Steam Wallet, opened my router up, and still nothing.
I'm gonna try the ol' uninstall/reinstall and see if that makes a difference.
...nope, no luck. Oh well, the game is pretty fun as it stands, but I know they're going to release a Stone Block (vs a Wood Block) before this gets fixed just to drive me crazy.

Add another recruit for the digging! Also add another person that has the shop displayed as unavailable as well. Oh well, it will be a nice surprise when i check the tab to see it up and running in the near future
I have all the shop dlc except the new one which I was going to buy after I read about it. Behold my horror as I start the game and the shop says unavailable after this new patch. Glad I found this thread and saw I was not the only one having this issue for the last few days. I actually signed in today to post a topic about it but seen the one here. Any ETA on when this will be fixed? Also I was wondering if you guys could add a free mode. I think its great you can disable event rooms. works out great for building but the problem I see with it is that rooms are still spawned to collect the crystals. I'd like to be able to build build build without having to worry about "completing" a map and a room being in my way when I want to build a big throne room or something.
