I just installed 1.10 in order to purchase TOG via the ingame store. I get the right checksum, and everything is dandy, except for the fact that I get a CTD when I try to enter the in-game store to buy TOG.

What gives? Known problem? Or my own damn fault? :p
 
There has been a bit of lag within the in-game gamersgate store. After you click on the store button, does it immediately crashes to desktop or does it freezes up first?

If it freezes I'd suggest to first wait for a bit before continueing. It took myself yesterday at times a bit longer before the in-game store showed up.


If that doesn't help, please try deleting the "...Documents/Paradox Interactive/Crusader Kings II"-folder and/or reinstalling the game. However make sure you make a backup of your save games first as they will be removed after deleting this folder, these savegame files can be found in the above mentioned folder.

I have similar issues with the in-game store and I managed to install my purchases (recent ones being old gods, the song, unit pack) but I had problems with the norse portraits and I have the same issue where it just freezes and when I checked the task manager it says not responding

Not quite the same; I can't even enter the store, but get a CTD when clicking the button. After the reinstall, I can't install my other expansions either :/

EDIT: The issue just... went away. Weird. I can now access store and DLC. Neat :)

This baffles me. Seen several posts reporting various issues much like yours and later an edit saying it started working by itself. Glad it is working, but I wish I could understand what the problem is to begin with. Thanks for reporting both the problem and that it got solved!

Well, Bjørn, some of the greatest things in life makes little sense! Why don't you just lean back and enjoy a bug that went away on its own :)
 
Did anyone of you check when experiencing these crashes if the Gamersgate homepage was slow in any way ?
I know it once crashed while being online when GGs' server was down or overburdened and slow.

While the crash while being offline and trying to open the in-game store had been resolved long ago, the aforementioned might still be an issue.
