Question: will there be a way to upgrade existing roads to roads with bus-lanes or roads with tram-lanes?

guys I havent read the whole thread, just the first 2 pages. A possible soluion for the depot thing could be to have a large bus terminus with a depot attached to it. Plus IRL buses very rarely run in loops, they go to a destination and return along the same route. Would like to see this in CIM 2. So you have the 2 end points on the route as bus terminus' with depots attached, regular pull in bus stop along the way, buses can go to the depot upon route completion and then become available for any route from that depot
Very interesting, but realistically bus depots are way out of town.

Nope. There are actually quite a lot cities (including the one where i live) that have their bus depots in a central location, even if they take up alot of space. Otherwise there would be no way to distribute the vehicles.
I read through the thread, but I might have missed that, so I'm sorry if the question has already been raised. Added to timetables, can we also choose different prices depending on daytime? Like more expensive tickets during peak time?

This is an action used to minimize passengers when needed, so I'm not sure how smart it would be to implement it since it more likely than not will also put your reputation down.
But if you have no other way of increasing capacity, I guess it would make sense too use it.
I was thinking, something on the lines of charging people more on more popular destinations, but then again, that's probably unrealistic.
I'm not sure, I know in England the price always adjusts its self; one week £1.30 for a concessionary and £1.60 the other.
EDIT: Usually, when I make my way to school it costs less, but when I make my journey back it usually costs more (perhaps because I'm heading to town - the direction the bus is going)
As of now I only use a bus pass and intend on walking with my friend.
