So it's a program skimming the thread and noting the latest mentioned province from each poster?
Does it need you to write your answer in a specific format? And should those of us who didn't write the province number post again with province name an number?
I have thought about having it auto scan the thread, and I might add that in the future, but for now I'm keeping it simple: it's just a form that requires you to insert forum username and province id.
Also what does it do when new provinces are made?
I extract the new provinces from the map and add them to the database (requires like ~40 seconds to parse the relevant game files). If a province has been split, users who had selected that province will find themselves in the province that has retained the previous province Id (if they find they should now be in the other half of the old province they can change their answer to the new province).
Well I'm pretty sure where I live now, Colorado Springs, is in somewhere in the Great Basin wasteland
It'd be good if the map allowed for wasteland provinces too - I imagine you aren't the only one. Hell, someone posted in this thread that they live in Coast of Holland.
I myself live in a wasteland (why make valtellina a wasteland paradox? :() so there will be the possibility to select wastelands for those that wish to do it :)
I have no plans to allow also selection of sea provinces as of now. However, if enough people request it, I might add that too.

I think Coast of Holland is probably the only one that would be useful - I can't think of anywhere else that enough land has been reclaimed for it to be a legitimate answer.
