Glad you like it :)

At everyone: yesterday I uploaded some back-end changes (mostly to reduce security problems and to go from "really rushed and ugly architecture" to "somewhat decent and organized architecture"). It *should* all be working exactly as before, if you notice anything, please contact me.
Also, as you should be able to see in the first page of this thread, the "snapshot" map now includes, on the far right, a legend showing which colors correspond to which amount of users. If two or more shades are valid for the same amount of users, the "greener" one will be applied. I am about 0% sure of the position/size of that legend, if anyone has any suggestions, feel free to make them.
Not necessarily the feedback you were asking for, but would it be possible to have more variation in colours for the less populated provinces? As it is, there are a lot of red provinces and it's hard to tell where smaller concentrations of 3-5ish people are, whereas a lot of the green range goes completely unused (Stockholm is a massive outlier).

All feedback is welcome! :)
Stockholm is the problem: the greenest color is assigned to the province with the most users, and all other colors are dynamically chosen based on that (each color shade covers 5% of the highest user amount, so the reddest provinces are the ones with <= 5% of the users in the Stockholm), I didn't really expect that there would be such a massively populated province compared to all the others. I'll try maybe tweaking the colors a bit, if you or anybody else has another suggestion feel free to make it.

953 - Conoy

@Romaoplays, @tre3qwerty I was unable to click Conoy on the map no matter where I moved my mouse.
You should be able to click it now :)
2154 Kelang, north port of Taiwan.
Don't want to be in part of China.
Indeed VoC and Spain had colonized Taiwan first.
Far East or East Indie would be better, primitive is Polynesian.
I'm using the superregion division defined in the game files, and I'd rather not make special changes due to the fact that they would revert the next time I need to update the map, and I would most likely forget to make them again (which is also the reason why province 979 Aleut is in the Oceania region even though it would look much better in the north america region)

You could make the lowest end of the scale darker reds so that the shade changes faster with lower numbers, maybe?

Yeah I think the color scale could be better. It's hard to see the difference between 1, 2 and 3, while those are the most common province colors.

Two suggestions:

- Cycle through more colors (add cyan, blue, purple, magenta at the high end)
- Make the scale logarithmic, so it advances x hue points for every doubling of the number of people per province.
