After announcing that the map was in development I wanted to make it usable asap, which lead to using the far less problematic manual insertion.
After the map was released, I set out to fix some minor bug and, after that, I calmly remade the whole back-end to make it more maintainable/expandable (why not make it like that in the first place? Because I'm an idiot, basically
), and the automatic update from the forum thing just kinda never happened. Maybe I will experiment with it, but the current method works well enough (occasional trolling aside. I particularly like "polar bear" living in the Greenland wasteland, will delete it though).
