I tried starting playing county of Rostov (Vladimir Monomach!) when I up and saw that the arms of the county were of Soviet era! It bears some clearly Soviet attributes, and is presumably the city arms made up in XX century. If anyone notices some other apparently inconsistent CoA, report them here, so it might inspire our good artists.

They aren't personal arms

The arms in CK are regional or town arms not personal arms. I was wondering about why they were 'inaccurate' too but later realized it was because they were for counties or cities like York, Salisbury or Bretagne rather than being CoA of the families of the Duke of York, Earl of Salisbury or Duc de Bretagne. Also I suspect that some of them were invented post medieval era, that being the best they could get.

best regards,
Richmond

Still, using that grossly inaccurate graphics is ridiculous to me. Some other examples: C568 and C569 bear cannons. Are these some kind of mythological beasts, maybe?
CHEE is actually the flag of modern Marij El republic in the RF, it even has these words written on it, in cyrillic. MOSK is modern city arms. I think this one has also been corrected in EU-GUFSM. RUSS, as well, is the modern arms, save the crown (while Ivan III had quite other version of two-headed eagle, and he almost fits in CK timeframe).
