Thought not a bug, correcting the following would lend CK more historical credibility in my eyes:

At the start of the 1066 scenario, the Polish ruler Boleslaw (II) Piast is King, when in reality he only became King in 1076. And at the time, a new ruler of Poland, HRH Mr. X Piast, wasn't able to be crowned King without Papal consent (point in case, the exiled Boleslaw's younger brother Wladyslaw Herman didn't dare to have himself crowned King; this continued until 1320 when the Papacy granted Poland the right to forego Papal consent). This is what happened with the aforementioned Boleslaw (II), who, for his rear-kissing to the Pope (mainly opposing Emperor Henry IV of Canossa fame) was granted the royal dignity. Ironically, the Bohemian King was granted the crown by Emperor Henry IV for opposing Pope Gregory VII and his stance on investiture.

So my point is for nations like Poland and Bohemia (possibly Hungary) to be required to gain Papal/Imperial consent before their rulers are crowned King of [insert country here]. This would be easier to do if there were a relations meter, as in EU and EUII. Just a suggestion.

Even if I’m old, I’ve got lots of money. And if a young man comes forward who can shake me down at night like a warped bed so that my teeth rattle in my mouth, he won’t stay poor.
