incorrect sprites on many units 1.08 SUBR

Some sprites are wrong for my AoD. German interceptors have a Polish aircraft sprite, and RAF interceptors have P-38 Lightning sprite. There are other wrong sprites, don't remember at this moment. Had this in 1.07 also, recently patched to 1.08 expecting that to solve it, but it didn't.

Where could the issue lie since my checksum is correct (SUBR) ?

I noticed in 1.08 the sprite for JAP light cruiser model 5 is the same as the older model 2? version, but model 4 has a modern looking ship sprite (model #s based on my memory, could be one out, but should be enough to get the general idea).
