So I would like to start by saying that though I have made a few small mods for CK2 and EUIV, I have never made any mods worth releasing, so my knowledge on how to mod is limited.

That being said, I am interested in finally making a mod worth publishing, specifically a mod that would let you research a late game tech to turn your home planet into an Ecumenopolis. This would change your planet from whatever type it previously was, into a new type known as an Ecumenopolis, which would increase energy and research production by 50%, while decreasing mineral production by 25%.

While I know that there is a way to alter a planet's type, what I was wondering is if there is a way to increase the amount of tiles a planet has, E.G. from the 16 tiles a homeworld usually has, to the maximum 25 tiles.

Try using the code:

Code:
change_planet_size > 1

From within a planet_event. I haven't tried running it myself, but I found it in an event in the game whose text implies it will increase the size of the planet.

Thanks, I'll try that.
