Independence effect question

So we have this "type = independence" effect. If I would like to have it inform the soon-to-be-former liege that he just lost a vassal, can it be done by putting trigger for liege effect into the effects above the independence effect?

I was just thinking that there should be some "Drats!" event informing a liege when a disloyal vassal of his breaks free by plotting. Also it would help out to filter those "My vassal just broke free!" bug-reports which get posted because of events like the "Plot against liege" that allows you to break free.

Well, at least in previous Paradox games, the effects of an event all took place simulatenously - i. e., for example, you could NOT modify a country released via the independence effect in the same event.

So, it should work.
