I was kind of waiting for the next official patch but I guess I can pre-release it and make any adjustments if necessary. I'll try to do it this week.

Belike you'd have to wait quite some time for the official patch anyways. I expect both Inn Nominae and patches for Rome are eating up most of the programming time they have.

Updates in Independent Crusaders 2008-05-21:
- Compatible with the latest DV beta release (DV: 2.1 beta 2008-04-11).
- Rewamped the map completely! Each kingdom now consists of 12 provinces instead of 18/21, giving room for a lot more of them.
- Every province now has base income 4 (decreased from 5) except for Rome which has 8 (decreased from 10).

This is what I got so far, file in download thread. Enjoy!

Er, there's a rather..major bug. For some reason whenever you start the game as a Norman duchy, your ruler is excommunicated from the getgo.

EDIT: It seems to be for most of Italy's duchies. Some duchy's aren't at all. I'm not sure what makes it choose.

Maybe lowering the prestige of the initial pope to 0 would prevent this from happening? I'll try later but you could try it yourself if you'd like, his id is 12333 in the Scenarios/ics_character file.

Every kid born in a culture that doesn't have names in the "characternames.csv" file is called "Unnamed infant." Celts and Byzantines are just two cultures I noticed with this problem. Fortunately I play neither Celts nor Byzantines, but it's still wacky. I still love ICS, though. :)
