how much inflation is bad.? my nation currently has an inflation rate of %57 with an income of 120D if maxed.

plus - is there any way to reduce inflation. the manual tells me no but it wouldn't hurt to ask.

There's stuff on the FAQ page about this. Governors (infrastructure tech 5) and declaring bankruptcy are the only ways of reducing inflation.

Inflation is always BAD. Try to have a low inflation and pump in money into science instead. Governors seem to be very efficient to lower inflation. Bankruptcy has many disadvantages (lower morale and lose all current science investments). There are also random events that will lower and increase inflation. Some are temporary and some permanent.

AFAIK 100% to treasury = 1% inflation per year => 100% = 100 years.

Is hundred years = 'a couple of years' for you ?

Do Governors actually reduce inflation or do they instead cause it to grow less? Is there a listing somewhere of all the Bailiffs/Governors etc... with what effects they have?

They decrease it. U can go back to hover around 0% again.

Governors reduce your inflation amount by 1% each time you 'promote' a Governor. This is a one-time event. Your inflation continues to increase if you do not change the allocation of your income.
