Long time ago I read Viktor Suvorov books Aquarium http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aquarium_(Suvorov) and Icebreaker http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Icebreaker_(Suvorov) - last one changed my view on WWII.

I recomend to read
http://www.amazon.com/Icebreaker-Who-Started-Second-World/dp/0241126223/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top
http://www.amazon.com/Chief-Culprit...8383/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1333396769&sr=8-1

In amazon reviews you can read in brief main thesis. But idea is that Stalin was planning to attack Hitler just few weeks later than Hitler did. Main evidence is concentration of forces and supplies very close to border what lead to disaster. It is must read book with convincing evidence.
last one is more recent - so its more updated.

Why I posting it here? Because it explains Red Army colapse in 41. So maybe it could be somehow included in game scenario.

Suvorov is highly controversial ....

Have you actually read it? Or just have read anti-Suvorov reviews? If you have - what logic is behind concentration of forces and supplies very close to border?

If you have not read it - then read.

Actually, I was posting this because I read your post about balancing isuess USSR vs Germany.
