CPU time per frame goes up to about 200ms based on population, disabling this mod makes it back to 15ms range.

Looks like author has prepared an update on github, we should have a fix soon.

I'm seeing something odd. I have a new-ish city that's still quite small, and Info Loom is showing me that I have no teens at all, or else maybe that the number is so small it rounds down to zero on the graph? I've got hundreds of students in my high schools though. Could this be a problem with Info Loom?

Replying to myself to say I think I raised a false alarm. For whatever reason, only 4.6% of my cims are teens, according to the population info panel. Info Loom seems to be accurately reporting weird demographics. Sorry!

yoo, for 60 minutes i believed this mod was the culprit of the constant crashes :D it was disabled gae ran okay for 1 hr and then started crashing again, disabled icons in find it mod, another hour no issues and then they just appear all of a sudden :D

Something strange since update.

I have a habit of hitting ESC to close menus. ESC does not close Infoloom or its tabs, it pauses and brings up the CS main menu. No problem since hitting ESC again resumes with Infoloom and tab still open. If I then close both using the UI everything fine. However, if I brainfreeze and hit ESC a third time in a row, there is an instant CTD every time. User error.

Not a modder, but maybe there is easy change to save people like me from ourselves.

Love the mod...thanks!

I was able to play again this afternoon and noticed that one other mod in my set had been updated over the weekend. Testing has led me to the conclusion that it is not your mod that caused my issue with ESC. It is the other: Advanced Road Tools.

Sorry to bother you. Thanks again for this mod.

Thank you for doing good work with continuous updates. However, I feel like the simple and small chart that was initially contained in "workforces" screen should be at the top as it contained most relevant infomation so players can look at it without having to scroll down.

Also the workforces screen tells players that homeless citizens need affordable housing. This is incorrect, as the cause of homeless is from that all teens get kicked out of their parents home when they turn 37 months old. And then the game kicks them out of the city shortly afterwards, which means all the homeless are gone back to 0.

See attached screenshot where a few seconds after the workforces screen saying the homeless citizens need affordable housing, the game kicks them all out and homeless number in the demographics screen becomes 0. I certainly didn't do anything about affordable housing, yet homeless is now 0. Homelessness has nothing to do with affordable housing and so that message should be removed.

@Bruceyboy24804 IMHO your mod is essential to play this game. I wonder if colossal order has reached out to you yet to include you in the insider group of mod developers.

I would echo the poster's comment, however, I found the earlier screens much simpler to navigate and read. Just having the data alone is useful enough for me.

That said, I can't emphasize enough how much I appreciate this mod. Knowing the precise numbers of unfilled jobs, unemployed and unhoused cims at each level of education, as well as knowing how many housing units are unfilled at each level makes the game playable.

I have a question about "Demographics" -- how does the age distribution work? From InfoLoom, have "children" going to high school / college and no one going to elementary schools. However, from the default education view I do have students in elementary schools, quite a lot actually.

Is this a bug or is it being calculated differently?

Hey @Bruceyboy24804 -- thank you for such a detail-rich mod!

I'm noticing a discrepancy in how the workforce and residential screens each report unemployment. The residential screen seems to be more inline with the game reporting as well. You can see here that the workforce screen shows a total unemployment rate of 4.4% while the residential screen shows 7%.

I really appreciate the work you've put into making this mod. It lets me make much better informed decisions about housing and jobs to zone. Thanks again!

I think there might be a bug in info loom. The default behaviour of the game is to treat everyone from 0 to 20 years old as primary school kids. The result is that you could never have enough primary schools, while your higher educational facilities is hardly being used. Infoloom's statistics reflected this as well. I then downloaded a mod called RealLife, where I could adjust these ages. The result is that I had a more balanced population in terms of education and again infoloom reflected this. But since the March patch, infoloom reverted to showing kids from 0-20 years old as primary school students. I did report it to RealLife, but the author said the issue is probably with Infoloom. And I tend to agree with him, because after running the game for a while, I'm not experiencing an over demand for primary schools and a drop of demand for other educational facilities
