Sorry, I don't have any source other than the scribbled note I wrte down about her that reads as such " illegitimate, later legitamized daughter of the Duc of Normandie Richard I"

As I am no expert on the subject, and have no idea where I heard or read that, I would say I definately have nothing to back it up.

Oh well,

I was hoping the good ole' Dowling clan would make it in. Just missed it, I guess.

The O'Dunlainges didn't really hold onto Leinster after 760, but Dunlaing macTuathal O'Muiredaig was King of Leinster and died in 1014 and there were a bunch of macDunlaings that were Kings of Leinster 'til 1042. I guess I missed out by 24 years. :(

So,... how hard do you think it'll be to add in a dynasty?

I looked at list in the beginning, what happened to the Este/Obertenghi? Shouldn't Albert-Azzo II (or Adalbert/Oberto) be in the list?

If it's not in the list, that means it won't be made playable.

Ah but why is Montferrat (which is far less powerful) in it? Albert-Azzo's domains covered most of NE Italy. He's one of the biggest lords in Italy AFAIK.

It also seems a bit strange that the Hautevilles get several in South of Italy and the main ally of the Guelphs (or rather the Welfs) in N. Italy isn't in. Also it is weird that Salerno goes to the Normans when AFAIK it was under the control of Gisolfo II until 1076

So in short this:
William de Hauteville
Title: duke of Salerno
Province: Salerno
Birth: 1020
Age at the startup: 46
Marital status: single
Father: Tankred de Hauteville
Mother: not known
is anachronistic in 1066

or any other search with 1076 and Salerno

I thought that strange myself. hey should have one at the most.

question is, of course, what's the problem with starting out as a vassal? Might be interesting enough to try and break free, or to balance your goals against that of your suzereign.
