A suggestion for CK3 that I think could be good.

I while back I read the askHistorians Reddit thread where they discuss CK2 and what the games omits to tell us about the medieval ages.

Especially the post by "Inb4username" which talks about which information was present for medieval rulers compared to how much information is avaible to the players of CK2.
In CK2 the player knows nearly everything about other realms. Their troop number, location of armies(though fog of war limits this), money, opinion of the player and many other things. A few things is hidden to the players such as health status of characters, sometimes who the real father of a child is and a few other things.
While I enjoy to look in the ledger and compare my realm to other, I would also like a feature where the ledger is turned off, and alot of the information about other realms is hidden, or only give the player a vague idea of army size, location and so forth. The accuracy of this information could be dependant on the skill level of ones advisors.
This could make it happen more often that the player declares a war that they think they can easily win but the information provided by your advisors proves to be wrong and the target realm has a larger army size and first estimated.

This could be a feature which is able to be turned on or off as I think alot of players could have different opinions on this.

I'd like it if your stats dictate how much you can actually see about managing your realms and also let you bluff your way against your liege
- high intrigue lets you see how loyal people under you are
- high stewardship lets you see more about different provinces' wealth + management
- high learning let's you understand how competent people are in doing most education based things
- high martial lets you see how good your armies are exactly
- high diplomacy lets you better understand how foreign powers feel about you

You should also be able to use these stats against your liege; being more competent in a field should give you the ability to deceive your way into appearing better than you are

Exactly something like this. I also think it should not only be the stats of your character but an average of the character stat and the stat of your appropriate council member.

If this were implemented, it should definitely be an option rather than the default. One problem with restricting the player's information is that it becomes a LOT harder to troubleshoot issues, especially once mods enter the picture. There should at very least be a "dev mode" that can be toggled which gives full information for bug report purposes.
