Randomly my screen will go black and flash an "INPUT: D-Sub" box, while the game is still running - Ultimately will error out due to no longer responding. Though I game daily, have been playing CSGO/WoW/High+ on SoaSE and cant say Ive had this error personally before. If I tried to play on a too high of resolution for my monitor (Native 1680x1050) I would get the same box but it would be an "Frequency Out of Range" instead. As for Cities, Im not quite sure what it is - Thought it was overheating, and at times there was 99% usage on my card while watching it in CatalystControlCentre. Thus the fan would go from 30% to 50% to keep it below 50c - My CPU isnt giving off much heat neither.

Iam currently at a loss, as it seems 100% random. It did it when I had barely a town of 20k, then never happened again until recently while getting close to 100k.
