OK. But, why that "vyrus" blocked ONLY upgrading of CK, while instaling CK from CD , or instaling or upgrading any other game (or program) makes NO problems. Also, I checked on some other forums, a lot of other people had the same error message related to iKernel, not mentioning vyruses.

I will try to reinstal Windows.

I didnt say you have virus. Only wanted to pass my knowledge about it to you. ;)

did you try English UK and English USA ?

please help

after trying everything that I could, I was not able to upgrade my CK.

I would like to ask for help. Could someone send me (as text files, zipped or unzipped, depending on the size) the EVENT FILES of CK in ENGLISH (I have original spanish version).

My e mail is:

igorvragovic@hotmail.com

I need these event for one EU2 project that will start this weekend.

Thanks a lot.

Today I bought Victoria. I wanted to upgrede the patch , but again I got the message:

An installation support file 'C:\Archivos de programa\Archivos comunes\InstallShield\engine\6\Intel32\iKernel.exe '
could not be instaled.

El nombre de archivo, directorio o etiqueta del volumen no es valido

It seems that both Crusader Kings and Victoria pathes can not be instaled on my computer. However, with EU2 and AGC-EEP I have no problems. I am totally confused.
