Install Error

HELP!!
first off, I'm a beta tester of EU2 and have it and all that goes w/it installed on my computer, now the problem:

Got my copy of the game today and when I try to load it - no luck

I have the beta loaded in the standard default spot. So when I plug in the CD of the commercial copy it has no option to install it.

So I tried to run the "setup" file from the Run menu in the Start menu - a little icon and status bar pop up, run up to bout 1/3 up to full then I get the error message w/a very long and confusing error line

here it is, I hope someone can tell me what I'm doin wrong

An installation support file
C:\Windows\temp\{CA5DDGE1-B508-4922-815D-479E3228B17A}\Setup.inx
could not be installed

this is most confusing


can someone give me a little help here?

Help!!!!!
I have the same problem as whiteHojo. I have tried cleaning up and defragting my drive, downloaded the setup.inx file from Paradox, and tried copying EU2 to the harddrive and installing from there, and nothing works. I´m still only get the "Can´t find file specified. I even tried assempling the file (C:\windows\TEMP\{CA5DD6E1-B508-4922-815D-479E3228B17A}\SETUP.INX, but still the same result.
There must be some way solve it , or perhaps bypass it, or perhaps my computer needs some program updating or servicepacks. EU1 works without problems, but i want to play EU2, so please help, i´m getting really frustrated here.
My computer is pentium II 266, 164mb ram. Voodoo3 4mb ram. And i´m trying to install it on my F: drive, which hasn´t ever benn used before, and has 9.6 gigabyte free.

I'm afraid it will be a lost cause as your CD-ROM appears incompatible with the copy protection

However, if you're willing to try a few things, I will need your complete config, especially your cd-rom and motherboard brand and model #.
