install shield wont install(?)

well as the title suggests, im trying to install the game but everytime it gets to the intall shield wizard thing (the ones with the bar moving) it doesnt even start. it just stays there as if nothings happening. anyone know the problem? (or maybe i can just wait till it moves but sadly im the not so patient type)

edit: forgot to put my specs. 3 year old gateway notebook. that should answer it all o. if ya want more details: WinXP Pro, intel p3, 128 ram or so, 2.5 gb free, i think thats all.

The first thing I want you to try is to make sure you have fully updated your windows operating system.
Then clean the temp directory.

thx for the reply.
i did that thing but it didnt work.
so i tried to do something not normal this time. when i tried to install it, i let it stay there for atleast 30 minutes. by god it worked. it actually installed the damn thing after 2 days of trying to figure this thing out it worked O_O; god my computer sucks.
now im enjoying the game with latest patch . another great game by paradox, i loved HoI and im enjoying this one.

edit: but still, playing this great game on 800x600 is damn hard o
