Installable on Virtual PC (Macintosh)?

I'm trying to install EUII on Virtual PC 5.0.3/Windows 98 on a Macintosh G4/800x2 with Apple's version of the Pioneer DVR-AO4 DVD-RW/CD-RW drive. Stick the CD in, the installer unpacks, then I get a dialog box saying 'setup quit because of an unexpected error' or something similarly uninformative. Can't see anything that looks relevant to the problem around here.

Anybody know whether I shouldn't expect to be able to install it at all on any kind of Virtual PC, or if there's something sketchy about this particular setup?

I seem to remember someone reported success a few months ago at this. Try a comprehensive search of these forums for "virtual PC" going back to the start of this year.

I'll move this to the Support forum as it is nothing to do with Bugs.

Wait the mac version or PM Viper37. He has a clue about what to do.
