Installation Error

I uninstalled vicky to undo some damage I had done by attempting a mod, but everytime I try to reinstall it, I get the following error:

"An I/O Error has occured during installation."

How can i reinstall my game?

Is it from a CD version, or a Gamersgate download?

If it is a CD, check the CD is clean and unscratched - also check your CD drive is working properly.
