Installation Error

So, I bought Hearts of Iron 2: Doomsday a few days back, and ahve tried to install it today. When I try however, I get a pop-up error message saying "An Installation Support File could not be installed. Data Error (Cyclic Redundency Check)." How can I solve this?

perhaps, your cd has some dirt, try to clean it, otherwise your cd is broken...

I already tried cleaning it, but that did not help.

You might want to try installing to a different PC or CD drive to rule out the possibility that the problem is with your CD or DVD drive, and not the media CD. If you get same error on another system or drive then perhaps the vendor that sold you the game will refund or replace it.
