Probably installing on 2000 or XP and not logged in with administrator rights. Non-admin users can't write to Program Files or Program Files\InstallShield Installation Information.
installation problems
I can't respond to Castro's problem, but I have another problem. I have an HOI disk from Strategy First that has worked fine for me for like a year 2 now, but while attempting to uninstall and reinstall to try a mod, I found that I can no longer install properly. It says there is a corrupt file and then it shuts down. The only other thing I can think of to mention is that I had 1.05c and 1.06 on my computer, and I trashed both of them instead of doing a normal uninstall. I can't seem to uninstall or reinstall now.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
