After not playing CK for a great many months, I decided to reinstall it on a random whim. Since that time I've gotten a new laptop (with Vista) but after reading the forums, I thought it would work fine. I have a physical copy of the game and obviously it is a fresh install.
In any case, whilst the install process carries out, I get the following message:
Component Transfer Error
Component: Core Files
File Group: common
File: E:\data2.cab
Error: Data error (cyclic redundancy check)
I've tried reinstalling on a couple more times, but to no avail. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
