Hi, i bought the game today, but when i try to intall it from the disc, i get the message that a error has occured while launching the setup. I previously downloaded the demo, but that shouldnt be i problem should it? I want to install it, but i cant. I have windows vista, a good machine, so there shouldnt be a problem there. Do anyone have an idea what is wrong. I'd like some help please.

Ok, i posted this the wrong place, i had not registred the game. But the problem is still here. I tried to use the kompatability thing, did not work. This is a hewlet packard machine. Bought november last year, done all the upgrades i found.

Do you have DirectX9.0c? Let's move this into tech support, where the gurus can help.
 
Do I correctly understand that your problem happens while installing the game, rather than while playing it? If so you may have a bad CD. Try it on a different machine, if the problem still happens there take it back to the store and get a replacement copy.

You do understand correctly. There are no scratches or marks on the cd, but what do i know, it can still be bad i guess. I will try to install the game on another computer. I hope it doesnt work actually, cause then it is something with my new computer, and i dont like that. Thanks for the advice ;)
 
hmm, this is strange, now it works. I tried once earlier today, but then it did not work, then i tried the disc on my girlfriends computer, and hey it worked, then i thought what kind of setting is stopping the installation on my computer? Well i tried again, i did not change any settings, and voila it works. Case closed, thanks again for the help.
