I am having an installation problem with my Victoria installation.
My computer is running XP SP 2, it is a 2.7ghz processor pc dell desktop with 512 mb of ram and over 30 gb of free hard drive
I only have a included intel graphics controller video capability though with 96 mb of ram
Anyways, the install gets stuck at 45% at the C:\Program Files\Paradox Entertainment\Victoria\scenarios\1861\France_Rh?e_Alpes.csv and a pop-up halts it and says "Component transfer error". It lists:
Component: Core files
File group: common
File: (see above)
Error: The filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect
Hopefully my copy has been registered, since I just bought it today (July 14, 2009 at 5:20-ish EST). If I need to register (I didn't see an option to register my copy of Victoria under the My Games/Registrations tab, so I assume that I am already registered) please let me know. Thanks.
