My computer is having issues running the the setup file on the new Doomsday CD I got.

I'm running a new HOI2 which I purchased through amazon (not sure of publisher). No patch cause I haven't installed yet.

Windows XP Home Edition (5.1, Build 2600)

Toshiba Satellite 1135

Mobile Intel (R) Celeron (R) CPU 2.00Ghz

494 Mb Memory

30.9 Gb free on hard drive

Direct X 9.0c 4.09.0000.0904

Intel (R) 82852/82855 GM/GME Graphics Chip 64 Mb

Avance AC97 Audio w/ driver verson 5.10.0000.4010

That should cover everything I'm supposed to include.

So: When I load the disk, it won't run autoplay (which should be enabled). When I try to run it manually, I get a
"Windows cannot read from this disk. The disk might be corrupted, or it could be using a format that is not compatible with Windows."
If I try to load the CD via my computer it does not read anything/asks if anything is there.
Other CDs work fine, it does not appear to be the drive. The box is PC edition, so it's not something dumb like that. The disk is not visibly scratched or damaged.
I realize this may be some sort of setup issue my computer has, but was hoping you could at least hint me in a direction towards fixing it. I did just reformat if that might have had some effect (I previously ran HOI2 w/o expansion with no problems).
Thank you for any help or advice you might have!!!

Probably just the CD being a bit dirty, so Windows had a spot of trouble reading the master directory information from it. ;)
