Hey.
I bought Victoria Complete off steam, and I would like to try some mods... But how would I install them? The first one I wanted to try was the modern day scenario, but it seems I need to install it where the main folders are. And I think that would mess it up, and I would not be able to uninstall them mod.
I did try to copy and paste the main Vic revolutions folder, and moving it, put when clicking the launch button to see if it works (without the mod installed), I get an error.

So how can I install the mod?
Thanks.

Steam seems to be messing up everything. Do you even have a file called Victoria.exe in your Victoria folder? If yes you should be able to start your backup copy by using that file, not the launcher. Then you can just install mods over that copy. If that doesn't work I don't know how you can get it to work (except for waiting for the next sale on gamersgate; Vicky was down to 3 € this year).

Sorry, can't help you then. Have you tried the Steam forums or whatever they have? You might also try the Victoria Tech Support Forum, but you'd have to register your game first and I'm not sure anybody is still watching those.

i dont know if this will work with Steam, but it should since only swap mods, you can try the JSGME modswapper utility, this tool enable you to swap mods without the necesity of making several copies of your game directory for every mod, saving you loads of disk space, put JSGME in google and you go to find it
