The idea of mixing language and culture is fun, so I'd like to make my vote Irish/Oceania. It would make sense for, say, Hawaii to still be habitable.

This is a fair point. Do we all need to be one culture, or is the "decentralized, tribal state" large enough to support multiple cultural groups?

From what I understand. Our overarching culture will just decide how well we use different resources and how our people will look, while we'll still be able to make our tribe's cultures as different as we want. I'm guessing it's a mechanics and graphics choice, since I'm assuming we'll all be considered one civilization.

Also, I'll change my culture choice to Oceanic just to be non-European. Preferred language is still Irish

I believe that our culture in C2C was either Babylonian or Roman, and that didn't seem to have much effect on the game. The language thing was kinda important, though.

Wow, such enthusiasm! Thanls everyone!

I guess you can have your own language for your own clan to begin with if you wish, but if noyhing else is stated, you'll have the language selected through this vote.

Also, the game isn't set in the real world if you were in doubt about that.

Oh that's good.

So we aren't confined to a language/culture barrier. Sounds fun.

Since people have stopped voting, I hereby stop the voting.

Nahuatl marginally wins the language vote, while on the other hand, European wins the culture vote. Therefore, to appease the pro-Celtic people and because our culture in-game is European, our people will be Celtic-looking in-game, but with Nahuatl.

Game thread will be up in a moment!

Celts who speak Nahuatl... what have we done?!

'Tis a horror never before seen in forum games, and likely never to be seen again.
