might be a corrupted map. delete the map cache and try again or make a clean reinstall.

Where is the map cache ? I don't find it in the map folder.

It's in your My Documents / Paradox folder

There is no map cache in CK2.

However, try to delete Documets/Paradox Interactive/settings.txt
