Yes, that's right, after almost two and a half years, Interregnum is out of beta!!! :D

Download Interregnum 1.0 here.

Read the announcement, overview and credits here.

For those who are interested, here is a list of the changes from Final Beta.

Bughunting

Worked out what the bug was which caused the Transformation of the Il-Khanate events to seize the game. This was a new one for me. Ask if you are interested.
Worked out that 'data = REB' is not possible, and so around 200 events would not work. A long job retooling all the triggers for the relevant events, but at least I discovered it now. And, on the upside of course, there are now 200+ more events that will fire as intended.
Corrected the triggers in the Sicilian events that have them inherit Cyprus if Jerusalem falls.
Ahmed brilliantly noticed a double Papal event which took a long time to figure out what the problem was. Now fixed.
Two hundred bugs found for us by Aegnor through his program. All corrected.
Corrected the manner in which Bavaria's Alternative Reformation event triggers. Now works.
The coup in Cyprus by the Order of Solomon now is triggered to ensure it happens.
And, like a LOT of other bugs and tweaks, too many to mention here.

Pirates and Rebels
Found out how to add pirate and rebel leaders to the game. Added a schwack of historical pirates, and began adding rebel leaders, starting with the Song generals and adding those for the Almujadid

Housekeeping
Changed the provinces Lanzhou and Sichuan Pendi to sunni and the state Nanzhao to sunni.
Uzbeks, Chagatai and Il-Khanate now all begin with permanent CBs on one another.
Added events for the sunni world for them to gain berber and Somali cultures under certain conditions.
Cataract is now Cotton.
Hedjaz and Yemen start with dual military access.
Uzbeks now begin in an alliance with the Il Khanate but NOT (ooops) as their vassals.
Changed Taiwan to Indonesian culture.
Added the Cores Events as an option at gamestart.
Added Koln which ought to have been in the game since beta 1.0 ..... he he he.

Burgundy
Added leaders for the last two centuries and increased the span of their first explorer.

Core Gaining Events
Added a subfolder for all the core gaining events. MichaelM responsible for the excellent replication and I added exclusions for each province. You can now gain a province as a core if it is the same religion, same continent (generally) and your badboy is 3 or less. Likewise, you can lose it as a core if you lose control of the province later.

Epochal_Mutazelite
Corrected commands for the province-based events: no more forced conversion or stab hits.

Halych-Volhynia
Added ai events and files to help it target Poland or to form Ruthenia.

Hungary
The CoT event now is keyed to the province 325 not to Hungary.

Jizya
Corrected the replicated error and halved the revolts.

Lombardy
Added explorers and their ai files.

Mamelukes
Now also get the secession event for conquering the KoJ.

Miscellaneous
Tweaked the triggers and effects of the Inflation and Bullion Crisis events.
Altered the effects of the events for capturing Mecca and Medina and created subsequent random events for the continued occupation.

Nubia
The Muslim coup event nbow has an action_b such that the coup fails, resulting in a revolt and conversion and the sleeping of the Egyptian event that unifies the two.

Papal States
Now cannot get the events Indulgence Peddlers and Unhappiness Among the Clergy in their normal forms. Gets a new Papal states only event for Clerical issues.

Random Events
Added a new event cycle for Political Dissent, which can be dealt with by confrontation or avoidance. each version sets a flag for subsequent random events which can resolve in a positive manner or negative manner, depending on your luck. Better chance of the whole thing blowing over if you confront them in the first place, but if it doesn't blowover then resulting civil war is worse.
Corrected commands for Unhappiness with the Peasants.

Savoy
Tweaked all the events in the Italian lineage which were not bugged, but which did not WAD. Extended the first explorer by two years.

Styria
Mikl updated the Styrian file for the Swabian relation events, and for the inheritence events.

Swabia
Updated the events for the relations with Styria, and for the cycle relating to the End of the Visconti.

Teutonic Order
Removed the event that created a CoT in Riga: too late in the game and, anyway, you can't 'create' a CoT because your merchants want one.

Zanj
The TPs idea hasn't workd, so to represent their trading settlements in the interior I have altered them to level 1 colonies. The ai won't colonize, so they ought not to grow.

Two and a half years!

This little project just grew and grew and has consumed my energies. It has challenged me, frustrated me but ultimately it has been a wonderful challenge.

That it was a project of love, not money, makes the rewards all the richer.

So, here's me, hitting the upload button, celebrating with a glass of Katherine Hills Shiraz Cabernet 2001 (chocolate undertones with strong blackcurrent and spice flavours).

A special thanks goes to my wife, for enduring this for so long. Many nights I ought to have gone to be with her (very much in the Biblical sense) and instead stayed up late working on Interregnum.

Is Interregnum actually finished though? Hardly. It will never be finished. There will always be more layers of richness to add, and I myself move on now to continue coding up the Asian material being produced by Siafu, and adding more material to the rather-sparse Gallic countries.

But here's to the successful completion of the main story arc of Interregnum, Europe, the Near east and the New World until 1650.

Thanks again to all who have helped.

Matty, proud as hell.

Didn't works... there is no topic in the link

And btw thanks to Matty for his great job and also for adding me to the contributors list.

I promise, just as soon as I get my home computer up and running again, that there will be more for China.

Hooray for 1.0. Hopefully I'll be able to actually play it soon, as well. ;p

Crio, you deserve to be in the credits, as you actually came up with the goods, not just empty promises! :D

Glad to read that you are still playing.

As someone who has watched MattyG's involvement in this epic work from his first discovery of the mod, to the draining of the last of the bottle of Shiraz, I marvel at his inventiveness, persistence, and perfectionism. Many people have come and go, but it's always been MattyG holding the project together.

I am loving this mod, loved writing it, and loved working with you all.

Thanks Mat.

I can't find anywhere in the files where the events are for sunni nations to gain somali and berber cultures. where are they? and what are the "certain conditions"?

Actually, never did the Berber one, I was waiting for a response from Calipah ...

The event is in Miscellaneous. The main triggers are below, plus a list of province-ownership requirements.

Code:
		religion = sunni
		stability = 1
		domestic = { type = innovative value = 4 }
		NOT = { domestic = { type = serfdom value = 8 } }
		NOT = { domestic = { type = aristocracy value = 8 } }
		NOT = { exists = ALE } #Adal

Congratulations Habib!

Good game MattyG. :)

(and the other contributors of couse ;) )

Gonna port it to EU3 now ? :D

Tarakan and calipah got a start on that via this forum.

Not sure if anything is still happening with it.

If I had the time, my poreference would be to upgrade to WatK4, rather than EU3, which I don't play. ;)

I have re-uploaded 1.0 with a number of bugfixes and event changes stemming from comments and reports received.

Bughunting

Fixed the replicated error in Asturian Expulsion of the Moors events, changing the country tag from POR to ASU.
Sicilian alt-ref events now don't trigger themselves.

Cores Events

Removed the stability requirement. Not really appropriate for events with a 10000 day offset. We are talking a generation here, hardly something that ought to be prevented by a momentary drop in stab.

Epochal_Med

Reworked, again, the triggers for the Pillars of Hercules events, as the flags seemed not to work when generated from province-based events.

Hansa

Changed the titles and texts for the events for core loss in Novgorod, Tuscany and London. Removed the Stab hits too.
Several events had two action_a, and this has been corrected.
Reworked the Pleskow version of the reformation, which was ... weird ... and altogther too easy.
Changed the effects of Machiavelli.
The Shipyard events are now ai only: players don't need an event to build a shipyard. If you want one, build it yourself.
Random culture gaining event "Thimes are Changing" corrected to include the proper date system.
Added the "I see you're playing Hansa" event.

Savoy
Corrected the Reformation event triggers.

great work on the random events ;) the "nobles ally with foreign power" now gives a guranteed headich for any plans; and i like its concept regarding of centralization; i mean it forces the logical path of bigger one gets of more descentralization needed for a real stability; i still have not understand if those events also trigger on a previous random event!?

Thought I should post in here, as these aren't really "bugs".

Nanzhao should be Sunni Muslim as state religion. Also, a lot of the nations in asia are the same "color" in the political map view (e.g. Song is the same green as three other nearby nations, and Ming is the same color as Korea I think), which can get confusing.

Ming should be using the flag/shield set for "China" in vanilla (the character on the shield is míng, 明).

Changed. Thanks.

A recently solved problem. By transporting the colourscales.csv into Interregnum from the vanilla file sets it now seems to acknowledge the colours determined in Interregnum's country.csv, instead of defining most of the colours as that green one you comment on.

This ought not to have been required, but now (well, in my 1.01 version :D ) the colours are being displayed properly and all of Asia is cleaner and differentiated.

Ming should be using the flag/shield set for "China" in vanilla (the character on the shield is míng, 明).

Done.

I have just, for the fourth time, reconnected it.

The [URL = ] keeps dropping the number of the thread , which is 311314, meaning it cannot find the thread.

It's like someone is coming in and editing the post. Very weird.
