"We at MMORPGITALIA are really committed with Paradox Development Studio strategy games, expecially with the most famous of them all, Europa Universalis. The fourth chapter of this series is about to come out, so we've made some questions to the Studio Manager at Paradox Development, Johan Andersson. Because I'm not a true affiliate to gaming journos, I'd have liked to have a much more focused interview, instead I could only come up with random questions, I hope you won't mind."

Wow, the interviewer was quite aggressive. You'd think you'd be slightly more polite when you get the chance to talk to Johan. Good interview neverthless

Latest news are all focused on what will become the very definition of failure, a broken game built on a broken engine based on a ridiculous DRM put in place just to squeeze every penny from the customers via endless DLCs. Excluding DRMs, from whom Paradox Development Studio has always been far and we're grateful for this, you've not been famous for exceptional launches yourselves but some time ago you chose to suppress some projects in the name of quality and honesty toward customers. What exactly was the reason behind this choice? PR? Marketing? Common sense? I'd like you to make it public so perhaps somebody will learn from you.
Wow.
Also:
On a more general note, about DLCs, won't releasing too many of them confuse the more easily distracted fans and alienate newcomers? Buying Crusader Kings II in its entirety costs more than 100 euros. It's not a "Train Simulator" level of madness but that feels to be the direction.
Quite untrue, I got it all in a 40-ish bundle.

That guy needs to ease off the cookies.

I kind of suspected from what community those questions came from, as I recognized the attitude. So I did some digging and as I believed, it was from the RPG Codex community. Search this if you want to see for yourself: paradox-is-the-best-company-ever-love page 15
Not the most intelligent bunch I'm afraid.

"We have taken the horde system from the Europa Universalis III: Divine Wind expansion and brought it into the Europa Universalis IV age"

Johan Andersson

Hmm I dunno if that's good or bad, I can't remember the horde system been especially good but maybe they tweaked to something amazing. And the mobojambo about the dlc was a bit weird and felt unnatural in the sense that I can't see him say that with a straight face, but at least paradox makes good bundles ! Just like he said so most of it must be true.
