"Go game over as your last colonists leaves Mars behind to take a trip into the great unknown"

I have attached a save that has all my remaining colonists (10), and is about to go out of range in 17hours....

When this happens not only does the achievement not pop, but the game does not end...

I have Last Ark rule activated so I cannot get any more colonists and all of mine are dead.
