Hi,
I've been playing the new DLC on Xbox One for the last few days, trying to unlock all the newly added achievements. Currently I am only missing a single one. It's called; "Into the Unknown". The description of this achievement is "Go game over as your last colonists leaves Mars behind to take a trip into the great unknown".
I cannot seem to understand what is required to unlock this achievement. I've tried multiple things to unlock this but so far no luck. I tried sending all my colonists to an asteroid, even setting up a base there and fulfill all required living conditions for them to survive tens of in game sols, and waiting for the asteroid to disappear out of reach. This loses my colonists and brings my total down to zero. However this does not give me a game over screen.
I've also tried sending all colonists but one to the asteroid, waiting for the asteroid to disappear and then kill off my single remaining colonist on Mars. This does give me a game over screen but no achievement. I've also tried to kill my last colonist on Mars before the asteroid disappears and then wait for it to disappear but again I wont get a game over screen.
Is this achievement maybe tied to a mystery or a certain chain of anomalies? I have checked the Wiki and I seem to have analyzed all the anomaly chains on the asteroids already. I also seem to have done all the chains the Recon Center gives out.
The only thing I can think of is that I am playing with random events disabled and this achievement might be tied to one of those. Could anyone give any insight into the requirement to unlock this achievement?
