Sword and Steel: A Medieval Forum Game
The year is 1300 AD. The High Middle Ages are ending. A new wind is in the air. What will happen? What will the next century bring? Are you an ancient Empire that wants to become glorious again? A family wanting to claim ownership over a powerful Kingdom? A sultan convinced of putting a red crescent over Rome? A city state bent on become wealthy and powerful? Can you lead your faction to glory? Or will your faction pass away from history and crumbled under the sand of time?

Note:this a history based but fictional game with several minor changes intended for gameplay.

You will be able to send orders every turn to further your faction or your land. There are many options, 32 in fact. So you can express your interest in this game, or even claim a spot. It is first come first serve in claiming a spot. Please check the faction list to see what is available. If you have any questions feel free to PM me or on IRC, if I'm on. Thank you!

Holy Roman Empire is an elective monarchy. There are seven Prince Electors, each part of a faction in the Holy Roman Empire. However, they can change, as certain factions grow ans shrink. All factions within Holy Roman Empire are vassals of the Emperor. The Emperor also has Imperial Lands, which he gains on coronation.

In as Mamelukes, if God wills it

Some serious issues in the Spanish area of the map, but, oh, well, let´s forget it... XD

I would just like to state for the record that the Middle East as depicted on that map is wildly ahistorical for 1300 and it is greatly depressing me.

Kingdom of France?
