Phase One: 1066
Dawn
Guy de Macon is nine year old boy of a proud blood of King Adalbert Ii Ivrea Of Italy, his third great grandfather, training with his uncle, Marshal Robert de Macon when his father died, becoming Count Guy the Second of Macon. Even so, it was clear that he is still too young to rule a county, especially his first cousin twice removed, Count Guillaume of Burgundy is ever devious to unify the holdings of Macon into one, into his own hands naturally. But foolishly his second great grandfather lost Duchy of Burgundy to King of France It always been his dream to restore these dual realms back into their rightful owner, him. But ultimately, it was his obsession with the purity of Macon that will forever taint his descendants to this day. But that will be discussed later on.
Let return to the status of county in the year of one thousand and sixty six, the year when Anglo-Saxon Kingdom of England fallen to Norman Conquerors. A year when a comet, four times the size of Venus, and to have shone with a light equal to a quarter of that of the Moon flown in the starry sky. The roles of his advisers are just the same under his father's court. His mother, Beatrice de Beaujeu is the steward, and Robert de Macon, his uncle, remained Marshal of his garrison. But, strangest of all, a spy from his rival who is also his first cousin twice removed, Sibylle de Macon, sister of Count Guillaume is the chancellor of his court. The Spymaster is not of the Macons but a rumoured mistress of his father, Raymond de Thury who is lustful and eyeing for next prey.
Ever nervous of imperial branch of his family, it occurred to him that Robert de Macon and Sibylle de Macon was unmarried in spite of romantic and sexual relationship between them. While Guy's father opposed such idea, he himself is quite happy to let it go ahead if only to get on older man's good side and to establish one of many, indeed, many ties between western and eastern branches of the House, and in the month of December, they got married after certain pressure on the Bishop of Macon. Very soon after, the Bishop suffered a certain accident which sadly meant his soul departed. When the Pope Alexander II heard about marriage between first cousins twice removed after a message dispatched by previous Bishop of Macon. After careful consideration and volunteering from a man called guilty lustful Arnoul de Thury who share certain features with Raymond de Thury, Arnoul was dispatched to Macon as the next Bishop and his task was to put stop to this. On his arrival, he was visited by his close relative for clandestine night. No one know exactly what went on in that room but in the end, no one really want to know...
In the next phase, the first ten fruitful years of Macon.
