Invading Coppenhagen - can't get out?

My spelling is probably off on that, but you get the point. Here's the problem. I invaded Coppenhagen just fine from Germany without using any transports at all. Just walked my troops there. But once i had annexed the country I had to use tranports to get my troops out of coppenhagen. This should be consistent, either you need tranports or you don't regardless of who owns the land.

(And please, don't anyone start making up stories about how the Danish partisans blew up the railways and bridges to the mainland! :rofl: )

Were there Allied ships in any of the sea zones near Copenhagen? That might be your problem.

You can strategically redeploy into and out of Copenhagen and the other Danish 'isthmus' province, but you can not move land units in and out because there are allied naval units there (probably subs). How troops can use RR to get in and out via SR but can not march out on their own is a mystery.
