I'm very sorry for that problem! This problem was indeed supposed to be fixed in the recent 1.0.5 patch, but we are getting a number or reports of it still.
This problem is receiving management and technical attention right now. I can't say when a fix will be out, but I'm sure it will be as soon as the cause is identified and fixed, and of course the patch thoroughly tested.

Actually the iPad 2 was released in 2011 - it's a modern classic!
It only has 512 MB though which might make things a litlte tricky ...
Can you please try these, A quick Google search shows that you are correct that there, I have the same problem but i solved following the instructions provided from howtoisolve web page here and solved this problem. Try this - https://www.howtoisolve.com/apps-crashing-in-ios-11-iphone-ipad/
