Like you know, Vnet is down so the solution is IP.

But what's strange is that, with everyone having the same version (1.06b3 - 12MAR) some guys have the msg that the version is not the same and other can join with no problems (and what's more strange is that I've played with some guys with the same version while Vnet was up).

Is any of you experimenting the same problems?
Did you find an explication or a solution?

Tks, Aranha.

I already know the problem.... It seems it's becouse in IP diferent language versions don't work... If a MOD wants to delete this thread ok.

Another thing I have found is that some players install 1.06b3 over a clean install or just over 1.06 instead of installing the other two betas under it.

You're right.

But, you don't need to install 1.06b2 (it is just eu.exe and another file, that are overwirte by 1.06b3).

Just 1.06 -> 1.06b (MP fix) -> 1.06b3

Is this true? One player that did not do it could not access our game... so I require everyone I play with to have all of the patches.

Almost sure:
- I've sente 1.06b (MP fix) and 1.06b3 to two friends and they can join my games (I've installed all) with no problems.
- If you look to the (two) files inside the 1.06b2 you'll notice that both of them are overwite with files that come with 1.06b3 !

I'm not saying that your wrong, but is it possible that your friends can only join your games and no one elses?

I didn't said you were saying I was wrong :D :D ;)

Answering to your question: no. The 2 files of 1.06b2 are overwrited by 1.06b3.

EDIT: I had installed all the versions (1.06b + 1.06b MPfix + 1.06b2 9MAR + 1.06b3 12MAR) but my friends didn't (only 1.06b MPfix 1.06b3 12MAR)
