Ironman cloud save: cannot see save game

Hi,

I started an ironman game on my laptop and activated cloud save. Nonetheless, I cannot see the save game on my desktop computer. Is there a way to force transferring the save game into the cloud?

The ironman save game is present on my laptop (OS X) in the save game folger (full path: /Users/<ME>/Documents/Paradox Interactive/Crusader Kings II/save games)

What would be the correct target location on Linux for manually transferring the save game?

If I manually transfer my save game once, would this trigger somehow an upload to Steam's cloud (so I can continue using that clouded save game)?
