Let's say that I write down all the events that I get when I play as a country. It is better to play Vanilla or this Mod? Which one would give me a more accurate picture of history?
I ask becuase when I was playing as Poland I was doing fine, but then when I reached the 1620, instead of playing with my empire I started a new scenario startng in 1620 and I suddenly started getting all these events that I never got before. So is this mod more historically accurate then the original game?
In the sense that you were to write a history book on the events that happen in the game?

AGCEEP, no doubt... But it is easy for me to say.

I don't count events anymore, but we have between 8,000 and 10,000 events (historical for most part but alternative too) in AGCEEP. Compare with vanilla...

As a player, you can still change things (remember it is a game) but you will see AI countries trying to achieve their historical goals if you don't interfere.

Events for Poland can be found here. It is easy to find out some key events can be avoided if conditions in triggers are not met, especially DP conditions (aristocracy, centralization, innovativeness, etc). If you want to play historically, only change your DP manually in order to nullify effect of random events and always choose first choice in events. This is the best way. Moreover, try to fulfill requirements for events.

Although as Fodoron pointed out, there is also a chance of greater volatility depending on events because some ahistoric event choices can have large implications.

Yes, of course, I could have been clearer when I said AI countries are trying to achieve their historical goals... but this is an average 95% chance for events. Only "problem" is 5% very soon in game (and even later) can indeed have a huge impact.

Ok, as long as the AI is trying to achieve their goals, but hey instead of wating for the events to trigger to copy tyhemm down, I could find them ALL listed. So where do I find where all the events are listed? and specifically for a given country

Yes if I didn't touch the game and only observed what AI did would I see a historical accurate map? :(

In the link that yoda provided - http://www.agceep.net/eventdoc.htm

The hope is that a historical map would result but there is a lot of variability. You should see something closer to accurate than what the standard game can provide.

And we provide Hands-off scenarios (use Mercenaries) if you just want to see what happens when a player never interferes.

As Garbon and I said, this is still a game and variability exists. We try to give conditions for AI countries to perform as they did in History but nothing is written in stone and countries can under or over perform and there will be an impact on other countries. Anyway, you should notice trends and average regularity.
