I am doing a slaver build with vassals later but idk if domination is a good tradition for it.

You should always pick domination because empire size exists.

It's good because slave bonuses and worker bonuses both apply to worker slaves so you get double the bonus same for the extended shifts edict. Also domination increase stability by reducing slave political power

Slavery is currently trash, so there is no good "slaver build" right now.

Last I checked, 4.x broke them and they weren't back yet.

Okay, that's good to hear. On the otherhand, I might integrate some vassals as well. Just want to point out my main species has the trait Slow Breeders as a trait so while I make others slaves, some will be given slightly more rights as a sort if indentured servants.
